The latest HURU update has seen new functionality being added to the HDFD tool. HDFD blends can sometimes be quite dark, this is due to the scaling being applied which is based on the minimum and maximum amplitude value within the full slice or volume rather than within your area of interest.
In the new HURU update the user can now select the depth / time area where their feature of interest is (reference z-slice) thus allowing the scale factor to be optimised for this feature (NOTE the underlying Magnitude data remains the same). This will allow you to much easier optimise the blend for your features of interest such as reservoir heterogeneity, channel systems or dissolution features.
