New in GeoTeric 2017.2.1 - Data Following Surfaces

The GeoTeric 2017.2.1 release now contains data following Adaptive Fault Surfaces.

The Adaptive Faults have data following fault sticks, released in 2017.2, which snap to discontinuities in reflectivity data, attributes or CMY Blends.  With this release, the surfaces between the Adaptive Fault Sticks can be either linear or data following. In the example below, the top image is two Adaptive Fault Sticks interpreted on the Combined CMY volume. The middle image is a linear surface between the fault sticks. The bottom image is the data following fault surface. As you can see, the data following surface is more accurate. With GeoTeric's Adaptive Fault Interpretation tool, less sticks are needed for an accurate fault interpretation.
