The team here at GeoTeric have just about recovered from a busy week at EAGE earlier this month.

With uncertainty as to how the current climate was going to affect attendance at this year’s EAGE, we were thrilled when we came away with one of our most successful years yet.

With attendance of around 5,400 visitors- down 1,600 compared to 2014- EAGE gave the Tech and Sales teams a chance to not only re-engage with old and current clients, but also demo our software to potential new audiences.
It was the perfect time to highlight our ethos of Cognitive Interpretation™ in our software, giving the audience a real insight as to how our software helps add considerable value to conventional and QI workflows.

We had a jam packed theatre schedule for the four day conference, including talks on Cognitive Interpretation from Dr Gaynor Paton, as well as special talks from Luis and Vitalij giving detail on GeoTeric’s data conditioning techniques and the seismic analysis tools available with GeoTeric.

Although exhibitor numbers were down on usual, it was really great to see such positivity at the event as a whole, with a steady footfall throughout the four days and some really exciting tech talks from other leading E&P companies (not to mention the cheese and wine on our stand at 4pm daily!).

But for now, there’s no rest for the wicked as plans pick back up to get things ready for an even bigger and better year at EAGE Vienna next year- hope to see you there!
