Artificial intelligence (AI) is making big waves in the subsurface world.
Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) is thought to be an answer to reduce net CO2 emissions globally. In this example, we applied our latest AI Seismic Interpretation workflow using AI Faults and AI Horizons to a dataset from the UK Southern North Sea (SNS) to illustrate how AI can be used to understand the suitability of storage sites for use in carbon sequestration projects.
