The GeoTeric blog successfully launched three months ago and is currently accessed globally by GeoTeric users and enthusiasts. The blog is designed to help you to use GeoTeric providing useful hints and tips, release updates and facilitating another form of communication between yourself and ffA. It also gives current information on recommended specifications, licence setup and installation instructions.
In recent posts we’ve looked at the effect of different Noise Cancellation filters in targeting specific noise and how different edge detections algorithms can optimise fault extractions. We’ve also covered exporting colour blends into Petrel for interpretation and how horizon volumes are multiple uses in GeoTeric.
We have had some great feedback about our blog and so we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks those of you who have sent us comments and suggestions about how the blog can develop. The point is it’s your blog too. So…keep talking to us!
