Geoteric 2023.2 is here with up to 70% faster processing time and enhanced well handling

Faults, Horizons

The latest software update from global AI seismic interpretation pioneers, Geoteric, focuses on faster processing and significantly enhanced well handling. The globally-proven technology has applications across the E&P life cycle and energy transition where customers are benefiting from shortened project cycle times, reduced risk and ultimately, better productivity.

Safer drilling

The release includes increased insight into well data and the ability to place arbitrary seismic lines along well trajectories, which means energy companies can QC well paths to avoid geohazards. This combination of leveraging existing workflows such as AI Faults and AI Horizons with significantly enhanced functionality means that new wells are being delivered with less risk in less time.

The subsurface in HD

Geoteric 2023.2 gives users an unparalleled deep-dive into the subsurface with smoother, faster processing of large data volumes. Furthermore, the ability to export high resolution Geoimage.tiff images makes it faster and easier to share crucial information with inter-disciplinary teams and better integrate results along the value chain.

Enhanced processing and well handling for every customer

Dr Nicola Tessen, Commercialisation Manager commented: "Importantly, the new update benefits every Geoteric customer and improving the workflows and overall experience for users has been key in this release. In a world that continues to handle increasing data volumes but decreasing interpretation times, the ability to smoothly process larger data volumes is critical to be able to deliver results that have real value in tight deadlines."
